The forests of the world are being lost at a rate unsurpassed in the history of mankind. Loss of these lands, their native populations of flora and fauna will forever impact the earth.
Catalpa Tree Seed Company is doing our part to help stabilize this negative trend by providing Free Tree Seed at no cost to programs, individuals, groups, and others that wish to reclaim land that has been lost to misuse, clear cutting, natural ecological as well as manmade damage, and other many methods. If you are intereste4 in Free Seed for your project, please contact us.
Over the course of the past 5 years, Catalpa Tree Seed Company has donated over 72.4 Billion seeds for reforestation and forest reclamation projects thought the world. In North America alone, we have assisted and donated over a quarter of a billion seeds to Land Stewardship Programs, Private, and Government Projects, as well as Educational and Private Concerns. While we do offer free seed, it is only to be used for the stated purposes, not intended for resale or other uses. (Please contact us if you have any questions, or wish to inquire about our Free Seed Donation Program.)
We assist these projects by helping them choose the proper seed for the indigenous trees that either are present – but in declining numbers or weak population positions, or were historically present in the forest reclamation location that they will be working on. Sometimes this requires onsite visits, historical research, or University or other assistance in determining the original landscape and native tree population. This study factors in all historic information, present populations, predicted growth, circular development, as well as bio-impact on surrounding native wildlife populations, land management, and other biodiversity factors.
Additionally, Catalpa Tree Seed Company has been working with Tree Farms throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Pacific Rim countries, and European Union to help promote the beneficial use, reforestation, and to educate industry professionals to the benefits of tree farmed products and their inherent benefits to the environment. We are dedicated to the education and promotion of sustainable agriculture, sustainable forestry, and sustainable ecoproducts.
If your organization is planning a reforestation or forest reclamation project, please contact us.

Hello, I am an 18yr old National Park Ranger at Fire Island National Seashores. I am co-heading a children’s “tree” program which will be held in 2 weeks. I would like the children to be able to plant tree seeds in recycled, biodegradable containers that they will decorate after our lesson/presentation. Anything you can send us (seeds/literature) will be very helpful (it will be less than 50 children).
